Background

My foundation is in co-occurring treatment and substance use recovery. As Clinical Director for a major recovery center in Albuquerque, NM, I led program development, supervised multidisciplinary teams, and built curriculum aligned with evidence-based practices across IOP, residential, and detox settings. I've also consulted with the New Mexico Department of Health, preparing state-run programs for Joint Commission accreditation, and worked within the U.S. Air Force's ADAPT program at Kirtland AFB, coordinating care for service members alongside command leadership.

Compliance, Audit & Accreditation Readiness:

Getting survey-ready is one of the most stressful moments in a program's life, and it's the area I'm most often brought in for. I help close documentation gaps, align clinical programming with regulatory standards, and build QAPI processes that hold up under review, so the audit becomes a formality rather than a fire drill.

Includes: mock surveys, chart and documentation audits with corrective action planning, QAPI development, policy and procedure work, and staff training on documentation and compliance standards.
